First Snow day of the season

I'm Back! What with working on our church newsletter , then two days to do payroll at work, it's been a busy week. Even though it was forecasted to snow, I had lots of plans for this weekend, the forecasts have been wrong before, huh? Well, surprise, they were right this time!

Outside - the sheep are hunkered down - the bonsai are all tucked away in the greenhouse.

Neelix was not happy about the snow - he gave me a look the last time he went out and came right back in that indicated that the whole inconvenience was my fault. Of course.

Inside Sinda has made a little nest up where she can see out the window. It is a little chilly for her, I think I'll have to look for a kitty heating pad.

Outside, it's snowing and snowing and snowing. I was going to go to the grocery store this a.m. - I decided that it was better to stay home - they just said on the news that there had been 43 accidents in our county today - I think I made a wise choice.

Neelix decided that he'd make the best of a bad weather day. I'm surprised that he isn't in front of the TV watching football with the Shepherd.

we stayed home too. it was good to be cozy warm while it was snowing. it sure came down hard here...huge flakes that swirled around our windows and landed on the golf course.

beautiful.

I love the snow shots. We don't usually get snow here until about Feb; which is just too late in the Christmas season for me. I want a White Christmas. Guess that will take a suitcase and a plane ticket!

You got a lot more than we did, as the weatherman said you would. Right now we are having a rainy wind storm -- such inhospitable weather for bringing home and potty-training a new puppy!

Wow, you guys sure got "winter". Its very warm here today (66) and humid. Suppose to drop drastically later though. We had a very tiny skiff of snow last weekend, that melted away very fast.

My Mom bought one of my outside kitties "Tibby" a 'present' (don't ask, let's just say I get my softness from animals from her)---it is a round hard disk with a removable/washable fleece cover. You heat it up in the microwave and it stays warm for about 8 hours. Tibby loves hers when it gets cold and is eager for me to slip it under her blankets at night. It is very convenient, works great and no cords to worry about fire hazard. Plus you can easily move it to the 'new' favorite spot your kitty picks.
Take care,
Tammy

Glad to see you posting again! And it was nice to talk to you, too. :)

We ALL hunkered down yesterday, but today was nice enough to clean out the barn and do some outside things as well.

I looked into Kitty Heating beds and are they ever expensive. I now just use a hue-man heating pad with some favorite old towels or fleecy throws on top. I leave it on the "Low" setting usually. But then my cats aren't spoiled, right? Oh, no...not them...the cats with their own old heating blanket on the spare bed in the winter. ;-)

I just ordered two Christmas ornaments on eBay that look like Charlie - and Neelix. I loves them orange tabbies.
