The REST of the story...

REST - defined in dictionary.com as: 1. Peace, ease, or refreshment resulting from sleep or the cessation of an activity. 2. Sleep or quiet relaxation.

Do you know how hard that can be when you actually feel 1000% better than you thought you would and there is so much to do and so many people to talk to, and your sisters and your husband are practically beating you down with a stick. Hrmph! Well - it was actually my friend Bonnie who got through the thick skull when she said "That's OK, honey, just go ahead and play. Just know for every day you play, you'll have an extra week of recovery" All Right, All Ready! I'll REST!

Meanwhile - I'd like to express our immense gratitude for everyone's prayers, kind thougts, meals, flowers, visits, and for everything else, - you "guys" are just the best!

I'm a little late in sending you my love and congratulations on a successful surgery! Thank goodness!

I called BL&S today to get your "blog" address which I had misplaced. In talking to one of the ladies there, I was so surprised to hear that someone was bringing you a box full of work today...NOT! Now Tina....!!

I'm just so glad to hear everything went well and you're home safe and sound. Take care of yourself and try to relax.

Lots of love,
Susie

P.S. And thank you for your very enjoyable commentaries.

of COURSE you don't feel like resting! You feel like you've been given a second chance and you want to enjoy LIFE. I don't blame you one bit. I'd be chaffing at the bit too.... ;-)

You go girl!

Hmmm, I have to say I am intimately familiar with the enforced rest. I am happily almost 38 weeks pregnant with an inducement date coming quickly if nature doesn't take care of me. I am so amazingly thrilled for you with everything going along swimingly. I love you.
