Sometimes the Universe just knows...

that you need a hug............

The mail hadn't come Friday night when we left for dinner, so it made an even nicer surprise to find a package with a familiar handwriting in our mail box when we came home.

My present was from the ever thoughtful Miss Peach (and her mamma Karla, I'm sure, as I've yet to find a kitty with opposable thumbs in order to wrap packages...) who sent this wonderful little tin box with a candle in a little flowerpot with my name on it, a tea bag of "Perfect Peach" tea, a magnet that says "Count your Blessings" and a sweet little card that says "A home without a cat is like a garden without flowers" - (how true that is!)

Wow! What with the hot weather this week and some not so hot changes at work, getting this little reminder that someone cares really made my day! Thank you. Miss Peach, from the bottom of my heart.

Hello Tina. Thank you for visiting my blog. Nice to meet you!

I know what you mean about the package. It is always so heart warming to find a package in the mailbox. Especially when it is filled with things that shows that someone knows us well!

Blessings!

Miss Peach and Karla were busy little elves, because my son Brian was thrilled to get a little package in the mail that day, too!

Oh dear Tina if we made you smile then we are happy that we sent you our humble gift. I think about you often and your beautiful garden the Shepard makes for you. Nothing survives the heat of our desert and I almost cryed when I saw the beloved nasturtiums in yours. My Opa in Germany grew those around the base of each fruit tree in his garden. As a child I remember plucking the largest leaves and immersing them in the rain bins. They glow silver under water and the droplets dance like mercury beads. I used to eat the peppery blooms too and oh how sweetly they smelled.
Know you are a treasured friend and cared about!
Love Karla and Miss Peach
