He always sweetly gets me flowers, we go out to dinner (we went to Billy McHale's Sunday night) and make a purchase that will benefit the farm. I think this year we're going to get a weed eater - not very romantic, but will save John a lot of time on the maintenance end of things around here.
Monday was also the beginning of Administrative Professionals week. My boss nicely got us all a spray of orchids - mine went on to the bookcase behind me, becuse of course my flowers from John meant oh so much more- but I finally had to make a "sign" that said "Happy Anniversary, love John" and put it in my flowers, because people were walking into the office and looking at my arrangement and going "Your flowers are different, well why are you so special?" BECAUSE THEY ARE FROM MY HUSBAND FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY, THAT'S WHY! Geeze!
Elsewhere, everyone is meandering back to the barn after having a very busy play date...

Arlo is cute even from behind! Our "play date" yesterday was OK, but Amanda wasn't as bonded with her kids as Lacey's were - one of Amanda's boys kept trying to nurse Lacey and stay with her. So much so that Lacey started pushing Amanda's kids around HARD. Poor little guys didn't know what to do.
And HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!
:)
Congratulations! What a lovely bouquet. May you have many, many more!
Your DH has very good taste; I LOVE the arrangement he selected! Rick and I are "old" married folk now; in June we will celebrate 23 years.
Lambs grow SO fast. I'm on a one-month count-down now, hoping my Valentine is preggers....

Happy Anniversary! How sweet that hubby remembered to send flowers. We celebrated 28 years this past Feb. and it was pretty quiet. I like them that way. We both will be the big 50 this year and I was really hoping for a trip somewhere but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. I hate cars that fall apart right about the time I think we are going to take a trip. A horse a buggy are looking pretty good to me right now.
I'm really late, but Happy Anniversary. May you have many more.
