Pretty cute, huh?
Yes, that's an end that needs to be tucked in -(looks kind of like it's umbilical cord...)
I suppose you could make it in a weekend if you did nothing else - but it did come together pretty fast (4 days) for someone who had made nothing but baby afghans and a few hats - and the hood will definitely be better, redone bigger.
Pat, pat, pat - that's the sound of me patting my self on the back - ha, ha, ha..........

It is darling. Lucky child to receive that gift!
As I said as BSG, LOVE the colors in your yarn! What a special little girl to get a homespun, handmade, one-of-a-kind hoody. I hope her mother keeps it for her to pass on.
You Deserve a pat on the back!
Well Done!!
You did a great job! I have made a baby sweater before and while everyone things they are easy because they are so small, I find them to be more fiddling that I would like! You are a brave girl. I think you should have taken the easy way out and just made an afghan!!
Well done, you! I think it turned out really well. Much better than I could have done.
(I went to a sock knitting workshop on Saturday and was all thumbs!)
I can hardly wait to see what else you are up to!
Very cute! I love the way the color stripes worked out. Well done!
Yup - pretty cute. The back pat is entitled.
Gosh, thanks everyone :-) T.
