President Barack Obama
I am so excited. I knew I would be too distracted by the events of the day to be effective at my work so I have actually taken today off so I can sit, with my box of tissues (my sisters call it my "Lassie moments") and watch the inauguration in real time.
If you haven't already heard it, go to Oprah.com and listen to David Foster's new music - "America's Song".
And if I can figure out where I stashed the recipe (and IF I can find some frozen peaches at the store) I'll make President Obama's favorite Peach Cobbler for dessert tomorrow.
And I'll be singing:

It is so heartening to read positive feelings about what is happening in our country. I will be watching and celebrating with you.
It was thrilling to watch, and I join in your prayers. I have some peaches in the freezer, if you want to come get them!
My heart almost stopped beating when President & Mrs Obama got out of the car to WALK on the parade route. I was praying fast and furious: "Please keep them safe, PLEASE keep them safe!"
