Welcome new friends -

We've had several new friends visit our blog recently and I want to extend a special welcome to two of them - Rascal - who looks very much like Jaxom, a kitty I had many years ago - and he has a very wicked sense of humor - you can find him at: http://welcometorascalsworld.blogspot.com/ He also has a sibling named CatZee, who I don't know very well yet, but you can read more about Rascal & CatZee on their blogs.

His human bean is called Leigh - she is a talented weaver & spinner & knitter & crafter - she is working on a Rare Breeds sweater right now that is going to be just delightful when it is finished - she also weaves lace! (and a multitude of other things that I haven't had a chance to explore yet! Check her out at : Leigh's Fiber Journal

I'm at work and need to get back to "it" - we're supposed to have extremely high winds tonight with gusts of 75 - 85 mph! I didn't know if we'd have power to do this tonight - Cheers all. T.

Remember to tie those sheep down, Tina! At least let me know if I need to catch them as they fly by!

Take care of yourselves and hug those kitties tight!

Oh, what a wonderful surprise your links are . Not sure if we'll actually live up to everyone's expectations after your lovely introductions :) Your winds sound dangerous. I hope you all don't blow away!

Well, it's midnight, I just finished payroll and the roof is still on the house - John did lock the little girls in tonight - it was raining sideways into their barn! I don't think we're going to get as bad of winds here as they might out on Whidbey Island - our friends Chris & Jerry @ Whoamule Farm are probably taking a beating about now. From previous "storm experience" I think we're probably getting gusts of about 60 mph - if they stay at that, we'll do OK.

Kathy - speak of flying, Western airlines now flies out of B'ham direct to Phoenix for only $80 one way - that sounds like we might have to pay you a little visit sometime, Huh? Or, you could come up and see our beautiful Pacific NW!

Leigh - all of your projects were so cool - especially the watermellon hat - I tried to leave a message this afternoon, but didn't get a chance. Give Rascal & Catzee a hug for us. :-) T.

I can't think of anything I'd like better than to have you both visit! :)

(I wonder if they would sell seats to sheep??? Hmmmm...) ;-)

Hey Tina, I'm wondering if you are one of the ones without power because of that storm. I hope not!

Yes, the blogger comments are a bugger these days.

Anyway,I've tagged you for a weird meme. Click on over to my blog for details :)
