A Tribute to the Fire Fighters

My sister's nephew is a fire fighter for the forest service.  He sent his dad these pictures of a day at work and his dad forwarded them along to my sis.  I think she said these were taken over Idaho. His dad says he has done 16 such rappels.

Such courage!  A tip of the hat to these brave men and women who lay it all on the line to protect our beautiful country.

May they stay safe.

Isn't it amazing what our firefighters and other first responders are able to do because of their courage and their training? I am in awe.

Truly amazing photos. Really puts things in perspective. Most of us focus on such small things and think they are monumental. But here are those who are willing to risk their lives for something truly worthy.

We should never, ever forget those who run into the dangers...and not away from them.
God bless all the firefighters, police, military, and everyday heroes.
Thanks for reminding us to stop a minute and remember them all, Tina.
