Last week we went to Ocean Shores, WA. Before I get into "the stories" - I thought I'd share a few pictures of the beach with you.
This was the view from our room.
This beautiful piece of driftwood was up at Taholah.
It always astonishes me that they let cars drive on the beach (in designated areas, though) - it is fun.
The Shepherd snapped this beautiful sunset from our room - as you can see from the above pictures, it was unseasonably sunny and almost warm - we had a wonderful, restful time.
Stay tuned for more to come.

Love that last shot; great job, John! I missed seeing you at OFFF, though.
Boy, did I miss our trip to the ocean this year. As much as I loved and needed to stay home, I could have done with a little beach therapy - lucky you.
Neat pictures of the beach! There's a beach in NZ called 90 Mile Beach where they actually let busses drive on it as part of a road-way, BUT you have to be experienced driving beaches as we saw a Mercedes that was swallowed up in sand from not knowing where to drive and where not to.
Thanks for sharing the ocean with us landlubbers!
I've only been to Ocean Shores once but I loved it! Unfortunately, the drive is WAY too long. A two-hour drive, stopping half way, is about my limit. Wimpy, huh?
