In Memory -

IN MEMORY OF SCUFFIE ANN

We would like to offer our condolences to our friends Robin & Del whose friend Scuffie Ann traveled over the Rainbow Bridge this week. We hope the happy memories of their days together help to ease the pain of her loss.

My condolences to your friends, Tina. What a beautiful girl she was. It is so hard to lose our friends and companions.

"Stray Cat by Francis Witham

Oh, what unhappy twist of fate
Has brought you homeless to my gate?
The gate where once another stood
To beg for shelter, warmth and food.
For from that day I ceased to be
The master of my destiny.
While he, with purr and velvet paw
Became within my house, The Law.
He scratched the furniture and shed
And claimed the middle of my bed.
He ruled in arrogance and pride
And broke the heart the day he died.
So if you really think, oh cat,
I'd willingly relive all that
Because you come, forlorn and thin
Well...don't just stand there...come on in."

For Scruffie Ann....

What a beautiful photo of a gorgeous cat. May their hearts be warmed by the pitty-patter of other little feline feet....

I am so sorry about Scuffie Ann. We had to put our 17 yr. old cat to sleep last fall and it was like losing a child. I take great comfort in knowing that we gave Misha a great life. She was a barn cat on a small farm near Memphis, TN. We loved her and her sister until they both passed. If we hadn't adopted them, I shutter to think what would have happened to them.
