My heart is broken.
The thin late winter sun does little to brighten my day - saddened by the disappearance of our sweet kitty Bella.
Even George & Gracie seem sad. They sit on the back porch and stare off into the distance - like I do - hoping to see her in the shadows
And they are kind of off their feed too - where as last week, they would chow down twice a day on a bowl of crunchies and 1/3 of a "hockey puck" can of "stinky goodness" - now, they barely eat 1/4 of a can, and not so much on the crunchies either. (which, really, isn't a bad thing, they are both a little (well maybe a lot) pudgy)
I just don't like the not knowing.
Sigh.....

I'm so sorry. We ALL hoped for better news....
Keeping my fingers crossed, though, Tina!
Sending purrs...don't lose hope yet...
So sorry Tina. My heart breaks for you. Praying he will come back--I've heard many stories of kitties gone for awhile that show back up so there is always hope.
Tammy
I'm so sorry you've lost your lovely girl and I hope she will come home to you!!
Sorry, after I wrote that I realized Bella is a boy. Regardless, I hope he comes home. You must miss him so!!
I'm sorry, Tina. Maybe he'll be back, but maybe he won't.
I have a loss too--my crabby old Lily cat succumbed to a series of seizures on Monday. I rushed her to the vet but he couldn't halt the seizures and she died. Loosy and I miss her badly; life changes when a pet is gone. The rhythms aren't the same.
Keeping you and Bella in my prayers. Our dear pets are family, and when one is missing, the others worry and mourn, too. Hoping for the best.
You are in my thoughts and prayers, Tina. I know how much you cherished Bella. May angels keep watch with you...as well as protect Bella, wherever he is.
Blessed be.
