I want to thank you so much for your nice visit too, she sure has some great friends. I hope you enjoyed wandering around the old cars and thank you for not clawing the upholstery. Next time you come by, I will have some cat nip waiting and Miss Peach will serve some of her tea.The people from Canada do some fantastic work on cars, don't they?YE OLDE CAR CLUBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16357925573227977616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27713421.post-7832867177533209872008-07-15T14:08:00.000-07:002008-07-15T14:08:00.000-07:00Sounds like everyone is getting attention except m...Sounds like everyone is getting attention except mom?Jans Funny Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15291874914770283114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27713421.post-78320729035764790592008-07-13T22:01:00.000-07:002008-07-13T22:01:00.000-07:00Our Hollis P Hoopers, familiarly known as Holly, h...Our Hollis P Hoopers, familiarly known as Holly, had hyperthyroidism. We gave him medicine for years until he finally had to have his thyroid glands (ALL of them) removed at age 17. He still had to take his meds and go for blood work periodically, but he survived for three years -- until he was 20.
I sympathize with the difficulty of giving pills to a kitty. Holly would turn into Jell-O when I opened his mouth. Giving him pills was not easy. Like Neelix, Holly didn't go for the liquid meds either.
Dealing with geriatric kitties is very difficult, and I applaud your persistence! I'm sure Neelix would tell you he appreciates all you do for him, if he could.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27713421.post-74691824582984069002008-07-13T18:38:00.000-07:002008-07-13T18:38:00.000-07:00What a stinker! How much of the liquid is he supposed to get? Could you mix it with something else like baby food to "disguise" it?Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02435811789823712254noreply@blogger.com
